My name is Ralph Rosen and I am the CEO of Kottlers of Cape Town.

Allow me to answer a couple of questions:

How big is a Zebra Skin?

A Zebra skin measures on average 9 feet from nose to tail and is 5 feet wide.

The head seems to stick up. Does it come complete with skull?

No. This is just an optical illusion. The skin on the head is thicker than elsewhere on the body but it is flat and the ears are sewn down.

I don’t want the head—just the body.

Let is know and we will trim the skin accordingly.

Is this Zebra skin legal?

We at Kottlers only deal with legal Burchell Zebra skins. Each and every one of our skins comply with CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) and all come with the papers to prove it.   www.cites.org

Do I require an import permit?

No you do not. We do all the work for you.

My country is very fussy about imports. How do I know that my parcel won't be confiscated?

We only deal in Burchell Zebra skins, which are not restricted in any way.

Do I need to have a veterinary certificate?

Only a couple of countries (such as Australia) require a veterinary certificate. If a certificate is required we make sure it is included in your parcel.

Will my parcel be delivered to my door?

Your parcel will be delivered by EMS, (a post office courier service) and will be delivered to your door where possible. If you are not home you will receive a slip from your nearest post office.

Will my skin arrive with a crease/mark down the centre, etc., due to having been folded/boxed for an extended period of time?

Yes. This is natural. However, you will find that once it is unfolded on the floor and walked on all the creases will come out within a few days. 

BURCHELL ZEBRA SKINS ARE NOT RESTRICTED IN ANY WAY AND CAN BE SENT TO ANY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!
